President’s Report
Meeting held at Port City this month and also will be in November

Vice President’s report
• NoVA Classic will be delayed until Jan 2022
o Registration will be open around Nov 11
o Need volunteers - stewards, judges

• MALT home brew club’s Turkeyshoot competition is Nov 21. Entry registration closes 11/13 at 2:30 pm. Judging is at Sapwood Cellars.

• GRiST Brewer of the Year (GBoY) / Home Brewer of the Year (HBoY)
o GBoY - Tight race - Tim in lead w 12 pts; Andrew 11.5 pts & Richard 8.5 pts
Josh (8), Udit (8) and Charlie (7.5)

o HBoY - Bix in lead w 15 pts; Charlie w 12 pts

Competition Chair –
• Fall Beer Competition Results - thanks to Max and Bennett for judging!
1st: Glenn with a Helles Bock
2nd: Udit and Dan with a Rye Brown Ale
3rd: Andrew with an Altbier
• Final GRiST Competition of the year in December: Stout or IPA

Social Chair

Delta variant is causing increased mitigations. Masks on while in the VWF, except when eating or drinking. Open share outside unmasked
